A practical, Integrative Approach to Meaningful Change
Meet Dr. Irina Bransteter
I provide evidence-based, integrative telehealth therapy for adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready for growth. My work is designed for those who are used to being the steady, capable one for others, professionals and high-responsibility adults who are functioning well on the outside while carrying significant internal pressure.
A Personal Understanding of Transition and Identity
My understanding of resilience was shaped early on. Having moved across cultures and languages as a refugee, I experienced firsthand the quiet strength required to begin again.
These experiences are not the focus of your therapy, they inform the depth of my listening and my respect for complexity. I strive to create a space where you do not have to simplify your story to be understood. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported as you move toward a more aligned way of living.
Depth, Structure, and Evidence-Based Care
My clinical foundation was shaped in hospital-based and academic medical settings. I serve as an Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and practice as a clinical psychologist within University Hospitals, where I am involved in patient care, training, and supervision. My work has also included participation in Institutional Review Board (IRB) activities, reinforcing a strong commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and integrated care. This background allows me to bring both scientific depth and grounded, practical structure to our work.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based. I draw thoughtfully from approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based strategies, trauma-informed care, and a whole-person perspective to support meaningful, individualized change - tailored to your goals, strengths and lived context.
